Hi! My name is Alvin. I’m a recent graduate in Computer Engineering with a minor in Marketing. While I majored in engineering, I've always attributed my problem-solving skills to my creative thinking abilities. I am passionate about working with others to tackle challenges.
During the pandemic, I noticed a significant issue in the housing market: houses weren't selling, and people were hesitant to visit homes. Inspired by this, I founded HomeFlicks, a 360° virtual tour service. My goal is to bridge the gap between real estate agents and home buyers, making the home-buying process smoother and more accessible.
My Story
I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and attended Northwood High School. From a young age, I learned the importance of hard work and seeking out opportunities to expand my knowledge. During my senior year, I was selected from a pool of 1,500 nominees for a four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarship to attend Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. Graduating debt-free with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering was a blessing, and I also had the chance to explore Real Estate through my electives.
During the pandemic, when we were all confined to our homes, I noticed a critical problem in the housing market: housing wasn't selling! While I was only a sophomore in college (well trapped at home at the time), I had a bright idea: Why not bring homes to people virtually? After years of hesitancy and school, I decided that I was going to give HomeFlicks a shot.
Although I have a deep love for engineering, my true passion lies in collaborating with others to create simple, effective solutions. With my limited knowledge in Real Estate, I'm eager to help agents while also learning from them. So if you are a Real Estate agent or know someone in the field, please feel free to reach out!
